I think Jackie Guerrido is the first weatherperson I have ever done an entry for on this blog.
Or maybe any other.
But she is certainly deserving of the title "Beautiful Latin Woman".
Jackie was born on September 24, 1970 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
She grew up in San Juan and after graduating high school. she and her family moved to the Bronx in New York City.
Jackie started out on morning radio show called El Vacilon de la Mañana, and moved from there to "Romance 106.7 FM" in Miami.
She went from there to her own music show at Salsa 98.3 FM.
At the same time, Jackie landed a job in television as a traffic reporter for Telemundo Channel, working for both the radio and television.
She got the attention of Univision while there, and they offered her a job as a weatherperson on the TV show Al Amanacer de Noticias 23.
Jackie took a course in meteorology at the University of Miami and the job was hers.
For several years, she was the weatherperson for Despierta America ("Wake Up America") and then she moved on to become the weather reporter on Primer Impacto ("First Impact") with Barbara Bermudo.
